The paper justifies the thesis that the main problem
of the migration phenomenon and describing it theoretical concepts
is the need of finding the answer to the question why in
approximately equal conditions there are people and groups of
people who take migrational actions, while others - not. As a
"working" response comes teaching of Russian ethnologist L.N.
Gumilеv for the "passionarnost". The paper defends the position
that viewed through the lens of this doctrine, modern migration not
only threatens Europe and Bulgaria, but on the contrary - by
providing "support" from millions "passionar" individuals, it
creates a "demographic-creative" preconditions for their existence
in the global era .
